Tile Market a main sponsor for Down Royal's Summer Festival

Tile Market and the Northern Region of the Irish Thoroughbred Breeders are the new joint sponsors of the feature chase at Down Royal's Summer Festival. Tile Market established in 1974 by Jim Mc Mullan is now the biggest Irish company offering tiles and porcelain for the bathroom and kitchen with 20 outlets in the Island of Ireland.

The boss of Tile Market said " I'm delighted to be involved in sponsoring the feature chase at the Maze being my local track and was unlucky not to have a winner at the course a couple of seasons ago on Boxing Day when Best China was clear but fell at the last. The company has sponsored other sporting events but national hunt racing is my passion."

Dr Dean Harron, Chairman of the Irish Thoroughbred Breeders Association [Northern Region] and Vice Chair of the All Ireland Body said “I am very pleased to have the local breeders association with Jim a member, join forces with a major Irish company which has a very high profile within the province in the sponsorship of the Summer Festival at Down Royal.
