Schlüter®-DITRA 25 Technical Information 

Schlüter®-DITRA 25 has been a proven solution for uncoupling and bonded waterproofing for over 25 years. As the first passive capillary bonded drainage product, Schlüter®-DITRA-DRAIN uncouples and ventilates the coverings of balconies, terraces, and wetrooms. Additionally, the sound insulation mat Schlüter®-DITRA-SOUND significantly reduces the sound transmission to adjoining rooms.

Waterproofing

This causes the structure to vibrate and produce sound waves on both sides of the surface impacted. These construction components transmit the structure borne noise as airborne noise. The impact sound reduction of 13 dB achieved by Schlüter®-DITRA-SOUND, therefore, means that the impact sound perception is cut by more than half!
